Consideraciones sobre la velocidad, fundamentos y preparación

Abstract

The objective of the following pages is to review the concepts on the one hand, of the conditional quality of velocity in both cyclic and acyclic sports and on the other, of the different types of velocity, their training methods and quality training methods in childhood. It intends to establish common criteria for velocity theories in sports and to show how velocity is influenced by the different methods used according the characteristics of each sport. What components, limitations and aspects must be taken into account in training velocity. In relation to children, one must recognize the importance of the naturation process in order to make the correct interventions at the right moment.
